Busting Bridges

We wrapped up our “Engineering Structures” unit this week in World of Tech.  Students did quite well.  Most bridges were 400-600% efficient.  They also handed in their “computer” bridges as well.  I’ll be posting some pics over the next few days.

Over in Exploring Tech, we finished our unit on Advanced Transportation.  Time to grade some powerpoints!

Exp Tech II:Pre-Engineering students are goin great guns on the Sumobots project.  Some of them look quite good!

World of Technology

Currently, we are finishing up the Engineering Structures unit.  Many truss bridges will be destroyed this week.

Then we begin our final unit  “Technology in Your World.”  Lots of video game info, + some other stuff like cellphones, gps, and who knows what else?

New blog

well, I already have a few blogs, but I figured I might as well get one dedicated to my classroom.  Who knows? It might come in handy for missing assignments, extra info, or whatever.
